E. Scott Medla is a Managing Director of CIT Energy. He is responsible for power, renewables and energy technology and heads the New York office of CIT Energy.

Areas of expertise:

Prior to joining CIT, Medla served as Managing Director at Banc of America Securities’ Natural Resources Group, where he developed a renewable power practice and originated transactions with utilities, independent power producers and private equity firms. He previously held investment banking positions as a Managing Director at both New Harbor and Fieldstone. In addition, he founded and was Managing Director and Industry Head of Deutsche Bank’s power and utility practice for North America.

Medla holds an MBA from the Johnson School at Cornell University and a BA from Union College.
